RIFLE WITH GRIFFIN & HOWE MOUNT. Cal. 270 Win. S# 158645. Mfg. 1950. Bbl. 24". Hooded blade front sight & folding rear sight. Control feed action has matching numbered bolt & hinged floorplate. Griffin & Howe side mount installed holding Redfield 6x 1" duplex scope. Checkered Monte Carlo walnut stock w/ brown leather sling on QD swivels & studs. Stock cut to LOP of 13 5/8" over Pachmayr pad. CONDITION: over 95% original blue showing light handling marks & edge wear to floorplate. Bolt shows polishing throughout. Wood retains large portions of original finish with scattered handling marks & peeling finish around replacement buttpad. Very good strong rifling with light frosting near muzzle.
